Revolutionary Space-Saving Furniture Solutions for Space-Age Kids

Last updated on March 23, 2015 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

pink princess castle bed with slide and towerWe can’t help you magically increase your home’s square footage or help you transform your child’s bedroom into an ideal play space, with the push of a button. As much as we’d all hoped that the world of “Star Trek,” “The Jetsons” or Marty McFly would make that possible by 2015, SciFi is still fiction.

But while flying cars or beaming technology may not be on the horizon, the latest developments in children’s furniture are truly revolutionary. The Maxtrix® System, featured at The Bedroom Source furniture showroom on Long Island, provides revolutionary space-saving solutions.

Space Savings

However big or small your child’s room may be, the Maxtrix system can help you maximize the space. Think more room for creative, active play, along with greater organization and room for siblings and friends. Maxtrix Loft Beds help you to create a dual-functioning space that would otherwise be used for only a bed, with plenty of wasted vertical space.

Low Lofts provide a safe option for young children, with room for storage furniture underneath. Under the Loft Bed, the space can be used for studying, playing, or storing clothes or other items; Maxtrix Storage Furniture or Under-bed Curtains are specifically designed for such use.

Typical Transitions

If you use the under-bed space for play, you can easily transition it to study space as your child grows. With Maxtrix, there’s no need to buy new furniture each time your child’s needs change. And if you start with a Low Loft, you can extend the bed to a Medium or High Loft using our extensions and secure Rock-Lock Connections as your child grows.

The same Basic Bed that can be lifted into a Loft Bed can be transformed into a Double or Triple Bunk Bed or have a Trundle Bed added, to sleep more children. Instead of purchasing a completely new bed and matching furnishings, the same bed can be used in any configuration.

Added Accommodations

With Maxtrix, it can be both! Since our beds are sturdy enough for adult use, your Maxtrix bed can accommodate the infrequent needs of out-of-town guests as well as the everyday needs of your children.

By adding Play Tents, Slides, Bookshelves, and Dressers, you can make sure all kinds of pretend play and storage needs are met. Each addition expands the safety and storage potential; for instance, choosing a Staircase Bunk Bed adds a drawer under each step. With Maxtrix, the sky really is the limit.

While we’d all like to own a hovercraft or have a “Rosie” robot to do housework for us, Maxtrix is for real. Once in a while, reality is even more exciting than fantasy.
