In your home you may have carefully grouped collections of one-of-a-kind treasures, each hand-picked piece symbolic of individuals that have brushed up against your life or events that no mere object could attempt to contain. Still, you savor each one and the memories they represent. These pieces represent much more than a single shopping trip: They’ve taken a lifetime to assemble. The cookie-cutter imitations found by the dozens, lining shelves of big box retailers, never could compare.

The perfect flooring to support unique, hard-won furnishings and décor like yours will honor the uniqueness of each piece you have assembled through the years. Rehmeyer Extreme Custom wood floors can do just that. You can’t find them in a catalog or even in our warehouse. They’re truly made-to-order, one-of-a-kind creations that begin with your dreams and end in our making them come true.

In case your dreams need a little direction, we have some ideas of our own to share. Since each Rehmeyer Extreme Custom wood floor is unique, though, we can’t show you what yours will look like until we create it.

We can promise a few things, though: Our skilled craftsmen use only premium, character-grade lumber and will not disappoint.

Random-Width Ash with French Country Styling

For the Shabby Chic enthusiast, the look of well-worn paint brings a breath of fresh air to the look of reclaimed lumber. Perfect for the eclectic decorator who tends toward a more casual feel, our random-width Ash is precision-milled and finished however you like.

We’re particularly fond of our French Blue finish, but, again, the choice is all yours.

About as formal as a floor can be, this design relies on the striking contrast that results when unsteamed wide-plank Walnut flooring, with its rich deep chocolate hue is punctuated with one-inch feature strips in Hard Maple.

When our Tung Oil finish is applied, the effect is positively stunning!

Reclaimed Heart Pine

Instead of simply mimicking the appearance of reclaimed flooring, this option provides the real McCoy.

To the genuinely antique boards, we apply a custom dark stain that accentuates the natural grain patterns. After that, our specialty sanding techniques breathe new life into old boards, offering the best of both worlds.

Red Ash

Starting with Ash that boasts amazing clarity, we use wire-brushing and sanding techniques, along with custom staining, to create an attention-getting finish that boasts a pop of color and surface texture that is sure to make heads turn. If you’re looking for something truly distinctive, this is definitely an option to consider.

The four options detailed above are mere suggestions, intended as springboards for your own imagination. What ideas do you have? We’d love to dream with you and make your flooring dreams come true!
