A Girl’s Dream Come True, Part 2

We really can’t say enough about the Bellamy Collection and its simple, feminine lines. The bright white finish makes this girls’ bedroom collection hint at the fairy-tale sweetness we hope our daughters get to dream and live. In addition to the three bed styles described in Part 1, Bellamy includes a Daybed (pictured above) and a Reading Bed (below); Bellamy also offers multiple storage furniture pieces and a unit that combines storage pieces with a single bed. In this post, we’ll look at a few of those storage pieces.

Bellamy Reading Bed & Nightstand

Bellamy 2-Drawer Nightstand

The smallest piece in the Bellamy Collection, the Bellamy Nightstand is 23 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 27 inches high. The two solid wood drawers utilize 4-corner English dovetail design along with dual under-mounted drawer slides. The space above the drawers can house a stack of books or a small bin of favorite things.

We recommend positioning one of these nightstands next to the bottom bunk of the Bellamy Vintage Bunk Bed or on either side of a Twin-sized Bellamy Bed or Bellamy Reading Bed (as pictured above). If you choose a Full-sized bed and have the space, you could choose two Bellamy Nightstands to flank the bed.

Bellamy Drawer Chest

This mid-sized piece is perfect for your daughter’s growing wardrobe — or maybe just the basics. At 38 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 52 inches high, it includes multiple hidden features to make this furniture piece a certain winner.

There is a sliding jewelry tray in the top drawer to keep jewelry organized. The bottom drawers come with removable partitions for better organization. The left end of the chest opens up to reveal a full length mirror, and the right end of the chest opens up to reveal accessory hooks for keeping accessories organized.

The top is just the right height for girls to use as a vanity — just add a jewelry box and stylish mirror to the surface!

For older girls (or young ones with small closets or extensive wardrobes), this larger chest is a must-have storage piece. Complementing the Drawer Chest, the Dressing Chest is 50 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and stands 44 inches tall.

The chest’s bottom drawers include partitions which can be removed, and the top right & left drawers hold felt lined trays that can be removed to reveal secret compartments for storing jewelry, money and other valuables. The Dressing Chest also features an antique mirror shelf.

Everyone loves the built in charging station for keeping phones and other mobile devices ready to use or for plugging in hair styling tools. The five drawers all have the same quality drawer construction as other pieces in the Bellamy Collection.

Bellamy Dresser

For girls who need plenty of drawer space, the Bellamy Dresser is 50 inches wide with a depth of 19 inches and a height of 44 inches. The bottom drawers have removable partitions for keeping clothing and games neatly organized. The top left drawer has a flip down front, making that drawer a perfect space for storing a game console or DVD player. The top right drawer has a removable felt tray which hides a secret storage area. The six self-closing drawers in the Bellamy Dresser are positioned with two shallow drawers on top, with four deeper storage drawers beneath.

Optional accessories include the large Venetian Mirror or Vertical Mirror which can be attached to the top of the Bellamy Dresser.

In Part 3, we’ll look at two more storage pieces, but if you’d prefer other sizes of storage furniture, the bright white finish of Bellamy pieces coordinates well with some of our other collections, as well: Maxtrix, Madison or The Bedroom Source Collection.
