A Girl’s Dream Come True, Part 1

Last updated on March 23, 2016 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Bellamy. The simplicity and charm of the name might just convey the beauty of this collection perfectly. On the other hand, perhaps it’s also a pinch like Jane Austen’s fictional heroine in one of her novels, with her aristocratic sensibilities and natural wit. Whether your sweet little girl would prefer to spend her days finding adventures, digging up drama or reading about the escapades of more daring souls than her own, we’re confident that she’ll appreciate the fine-tuned details of our Bellamy furniture collection.

Bellamy Bed

Easily stealing the show, this dreamy piece embodies all things girlie. Available in either Twin or Full size, the textured Daisy White finish adds time worn appeal to the Victorian style of this bed. The bed comes with a hardwood slat system that requires only a low-profile mattress to provide a safe, comfortable sleeping surface for a child or teen. Optional accessories include a giant under-bed drawer to be used for either storage or as a trundle (for a mattress that’s 39 by 72 by 6.5 inches). Alternatives include two full-depth under-bed storage drawers that roll along the floor or a set of three smaller drawers that slide on tracks in their own cabinet.

Available in Twin-over-Twin or Full-over-Full sizes, both standing 80 inches high, the Bellamy Vintage Bunk Bed is comprised of two vintage style beds that can be separated, if you so choose. Either size is 81 inches long. The twin size is 43 inches deep, and the full is 58 inches deep; a ladder adds an additional 26.5 inches depth and can be added on either the left or right side of the bed. The same three under-bed storage options are available as with the Bellamy 4-Post Bed described above. The top bed requires a low-profile mattress, which we can deliver for no additional charge along with your furniture. For safety reasons, we recommend that no children under age six sleep on any of our bunk beds.

With its subtle curves and bright white hue, the Trellis Bed can make a bold statement against a dark or brightly colored wall. The Trellis Bed is unique with its carved out headboard with reversible panel. One side is French Grey, while the other side is Antique Rose. The Twin headboard stands 52 inches high and the Full headboard stands 53 inches high; the bed comes complete with a matching footboard (23″ high), siderails, and slats. Like many of the other beds in the Bellamy collection, any of the three under-bed storage drawer options listed above are available with the Bellamy Panel Bed.

In addition to these three dreamy Bellamy beds, we’re pleased to offer multiple storage pieces and a combination unit that includes a bed and storage. You can read about them in Part 2 and Part 3.
